About UsGod's Love Ministries was born of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of ministering mainly to the elderly. Along the way, however, we also have been blessed with the opportunity to minister not only in nursing homes but in hospitals, prisons, and homeless shelters as well.
The ministry started in Jackson GA in the year 1993. Soon after, the Lord sent me back to college in Houston, TX, where I relocated the ministry. While there, I joined the ministry with Rise & Shine Ministries. The ministry flourished as we not only ministered in nursing homes, but also we were blessed with the opportunity to work with the homeless. Via the urging of the Holy Spirit, after I graduated from college, I moved the ministry back to Georgia in 2007.
We are presently concentrating our efforts in nursing homes in the Covington, Social Circle, Monroe and Jackson area. As the Holy Spirit leads and volunteers join our ministry we will add surrounding nursing and convalescent homes. If you feel you are led by God to join us, please get in touch with us...it's a fantastic and rewarding ministry. We need you!
We began our ministry by visiting nursing home patients room to room. We would take bananas and oranges to the residents and it was not long before I was dubbed the “Banana Man”. It's wonderful to see the joy in people's faces when we enter their rooms to share with them the Love of Christ.
Many of the residents have no families or local relatives, so we try to provide them with small amenities. We are praying that through Christian donations we will one day be able to supply more than the very basic needs.
It is also our desire to one day help and financially assist the elderly everywhere. The needs are great...they range from homes in need of repair, to supplying warm healthy meals, to making sure they're comfortable in the cold winters and hot summers.
The Lord has motivated us through his Holy Spirit to be a support unto these, our brothers and sisters. For the elderly the time is short. It’s important that we do everything possible to help them and lead them to the Lord. Your help makes you part of all we do for His glory.

This We BelieveWe believe the Bible is the Word of God and contains one harmonious and sufficiently complete system of doctrine. We believe in the full inspiration of the Word of God. We hold the Word of God to be the authority in all matters and assert that no doctrine can be essential if it does not find place in the Word.
"The Father"
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Author and Creator of all things. The Old Testament reveals God in diverse manners, by manifesting his nature, character, and dominions. The Gospels in the New Testament gives us knowledge of God the "Father" or "My Father" showing the relationship of God to Jesus as Father, or representing Him as the Father in the God head, and Jesus himself the son (John 15:8, 14:20). Jesus also gives God the distinction of "Fatherhood" to all believers when he explains God in the light of "Your Father in Heaven" (Matthew 11:33, 6:8).
"The Son”
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person in the Godhead of the Trinity or Triune Godhead. WE believe that Jesus was and is eternal in his person and nature as the Son of God who was with God in the beginning of creation (John 1:1). We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin called Mary according to the scripture of Matthew, thus giving rise to our fundamental belief in the Virgin Birth and to all the miraculous events surrounding this phenomenon (Matthew 1:18-25). We believe that Jesus became the "suffering Servant" to man. This suffering servant came seeking to redeem man from sin and to reconcile him back to God, his Father (Romans 5:10). We believe that Jesus Christ is standing now as mediator between God and man (I Timothy 2:5).
"The Holy Ghost"
We believe the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. Is of the same substance as The Father and the Son, equal in power and glory, and is, perfectly together with the Father and the Son, to be believed there in, obeyed, and loved. The Holy Spirit is a gift bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of equipping and empowering the believer, making him a more effective witness or service in the world. He teaches and guides one in all truth (John 16:13; Acts 1:8, 8:39).
